Artificial intelligence in SMEs – research team meeting in Murcia

Meeting participants around a shared table.

Developing research instruments, assessing them and approving them for the main study were the principal topics of the research team meeting held on 25–28 April 2025 at the University of Murcia. The team assessed the in-depth interviews and pilot surveys conducted. On this basis, it concluded that the research questionnaire met the requirements for achieving the research and project objectives. This enables us to begin the next stage of the work: the questionnaire survey.

We thank Professor Jesús Adolfo Guillamón Ayala for organising the team meeting.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to learn about the Faculty of Social Work and the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Murcia. We thank Professor Marcos Antón Renart, Vice-Dean for International Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Business, for meeting with us.

Preparations for international research within the project implemented by MANS.

The international research team led by Dr inż. Ireneusz Żuchowski worked intensively on the research methodology and instruments for quantitative and qualitative studies in SMEs in Poland, Germany, Spain, Slovakia and Italy. The meeting enabled the joint development of instruments reflecting the specific circumstances of each country. It also gave team members an opportunity to get to know one another better and plan further project activities. Team members discussed new challenges and the need to further develop research cooperation between our institutions.
