Mobility information

Practical information for students and staff planning outgoing or incoming mobility under the Erasmus+ Programme.

Types of mobility

Erasmus+ enables MANS students and staff to participate in international mobility activities organised in cooperation with partner institutions.

  • student mobility for studies,
  • student and recent graduate mobility for traineeships, subject to the conditions of the relevant project,
  • staff mobility for teaching,
  • staff mobility for training,
  • blended mobility combining a physical stay with a virtual component where provided for by the relevant action.

Duration of mobility

Under the current Erasmus+ Programme, long-term student mobility for studies or traineeships normally lasts from 2 to 12 months. For blended short-term student mobility, the physical component lasts from 5 to 30 days and is combined with a compulsory virtual component.

The duration of staff mobility for teaching or training depends on the destination country, activity type and funding framework. Detailed conditions are specified in the current call and the documentation of the relevant Erasmus+ project.

Before the mobility

The activities to be carried out abroad are agreed before the mobility begins.

  • students going abroad for studies or traineeships agree a Learning Agreement,
  • staff participating in teaching or training mobility agree a Mobility Agreement,
  • where mobility takes place between higher education institutions, the appropriate inter-institutional arrangements must be in place,
  • participants complete the financial and organisational documents required under the relevant project.

Incoming participants at MANS

Students and staff from partner institutions interested in mobility at MANS should first contact their home institution and the MANS Erasmus+ Office.

Current information concerning nominations, documents, mobility programmes, deadlines and practical organisation is provided by the Erasmus+ Office according to the current academic year and the relevant project.
