General provisions

Basic rules governing Erasmus+ mobility of MANS students and staff.

Scope of the Programme

Erasmus+ is available to eligible MANS students and staff. The University implements higher education mobility projects for which it has appropriate funding and agreements with partner institutions.

Depending on the project, mobility may involve cooperation with Programme countries as well as partners in other countries.

Participants and selection

Students and staff do not apply directly to the European Commission for individual mobility grants. Participants are selected by MANS in accordance with Erasmus+ rules, the conditions of the relevant project and the criteria published for the current call.

Information about deadlines, available places, selection rules and required documents is published for individual calls or provided by the Erasmus+ Office.

Mobility documentation

Before the mobility begins, the participant and the relevant institutions agree the programme and conditions of the mobility period.

  • a Learning Agreement is used for student mobility,
  • a Mobility Agreement is used for staff mobility,
  • participants sign the required financial or grant agreement where the mobility is funded by the Programme,
  • changes to the mobility programme must be agreed in accordance with the relevant document and project rules.

Equal opportunities and inclusion

MANS implements mobility activities in accordance with the principles of equal treatment, non-discrimination and accessibility. Erasmus+ provides additional support mechanisms for participants with fewer opportunities in accordance with current Programme rules and national criteria.

Funding

Grant amounts, individual support, top-ups, travel support and any additional forms of funding depend on the mobility type, destination country, project and the rules applicable to the relevant call.

Current rates and detailed financial conditions are provided to participants in the documentation for the specific mobility.

Participant responsibilities

  • carrying out the agreed mobility programme,
  • complying with the rules of the sending and receiving organisations,
  • promptly reporting changes that may affect the mobility,
  • submitting documents required for settlement and recognition of the mobility,
  • completing mandatory surveys or reports required under the Programme.
