Research Closer to Business — Students Closer to the Labour Market

"Science closer to business – student closer to the labour market" is the motto of the nearest business breakfast, which will be held on 22 June 2023 at 9 a.m. at the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża (new Aula, building B).

We warmly welcome you to this unique event which will combine science and business, focusing on issues related to student employment opportunities by local entrepreneurs and other aspects of cooperation between science and business.

The meeting will begin with a debate involving leading actors with experience and valuable practices in this field. Speakers will include the Ombudsman for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises in Białystok, an expert on integration of education with the labour market from the Lewiatan Confederation, the Vice-President of MANS, as well as representatives of local companies who will share their successes and challenges in cooperation with universities.

Key issues on bridging the gap between academia and business, such as traineeships, mentoring programmes, innovative research projects or partnerships for skills and competences development, will be discussed during the debate.

The debate will also be followed by a short presentation of unmanned aircraft, which is currently one of the most dynamically developing sectors in technology. It will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest developments in this field and see how the use of drones is affecting business development.

At the end of the meeting, for willing participants, we're organizing a laser shooting competition at MANS. It's a great opportunity to integrate and strengthen business relationships in a pleasant atmosphere.
