Ladies and gentlemen,

The Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering, Podlaskie Branch, continuing the initiative of previous years, invites you to participate in the IV edition of the Competition for the best Diploma Theses of Graduates of Higher Education in agricultural and natural sciences, with special attention to engineering issues, agricultural engineering (currently mechanical engineering) and environmental protection.

The aim of the competition is to inspire creative attitudes in solving technical problems (theoretical and practical) in the field of mechanical (agricultural) engineering and environmental engineering, as well as to reward and distinguish the best diploma papers.

For this year's competition, entries are accepted in the following categories:

1. Agricultural technology – vehicles, machinery and equipment used in agricultural production.
2. Renewable energy sources and agricultural energy resources.
3. Energy and waste management problems in agro-food processing.
4. Issues related to food safety.

Competition papers should be sent electronically in PDF format to the following e-mail address: bl888@lomza.mans.edu.pl. . . Together with the competition work, the Author is obliged to send a signed annex no. 1 (the application signed by the Promoter and Diplomat and the information clause concerning personal data GDPR).

The organiser reserves the right to reject works which:

• were sent in breach of the Rules of Procedure or after the deadline for transmission,
• have not been sent with the signed required annex.

Time limits

• Announcement of the contest: 22 December 2025.
• Deadline for submission of works electronically: until 30 January 2026.
• Evaluation of the competition works: 02 February – 26 February 2026.
• Announcement of the results: 27 February 2026.
• Award award: Start of March 2026 (Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Bialystok)
