Students from the Scientific Circle of Nature Lovers - WSA Łomża participated in the Polar Days on 14 June
Students from the Scientific Circle of Nature Lovers - WSA Łomża together with their supervisor, Mrs. dr. Jolantom Puczel participated in the Polar Days organized by ZDOO in Marianow on June 14. It was a time to expand knowledge in the fields of plant breeding, crop protection and fertilisation. The students reviewed the List of Varieties Recommended for cultivation in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, compared the varieties with regard to the developmental progress of the individual varieties in a given species. It was also an unforgettable practical lesson in recognizing diseases and pests of grain crops, potatoes, and beans. In spite of the dark clouds over the students from the scientific circle overcoming further experimental fields, many issues related to agriculture were discussed.
The excursion of the students took place under the patronage of the Polish Agronomic Society (Lomzhin branch) and the Polish Society of Agricultural Engineering (Plastic section).
