On 27.06.2026, the students of the second year of MANS in Łomża, including 4 part-time studies in Agriculture, participated in a training trip within the subject Animal Nutrition to one of the most modern and most prosperous feed companies in the region i.e. The production plant is located at Pasz-Agrozentrum. Elevator 5 in Grajewo, owned by Mr. Stanisław Pietruszyński and his son Mr. Adam Pietruszyński. The excursion was organized by MANS and supervised by the subject leader, Prof. I'm going to see Jan Miciński. The trip involved getting acquainted with the production of feed in Wytwórnia, which is 5th in terms of production of feed for livestock in Poland and, what is worth emphasizing, only with Polish capital.
The presentation of the Pasz Factory was made by Director Dariusz Lemanski. Students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the evaluation of raw material in the factory laboratory, which examines samples during the purchase, quality and type of product range produced, production technology and equipment for grinding, mixing, extrusion, expansion, granulation and packaging of feed destined for different animal species, including mainly cattle, poultry and swine, as well as for horses and certain domestic animals. Students showed great interest in the Plant. They were very surprised by the size of the production, as the capacity of the plant is the production of 1,200 tonnes of feed per day
The students were delighted with the trip, and it was hard to stop them from discussing and asking questions, especially about the latest trends in animal feed production and feeding. The students received a very warm, friendly, even warm welcome, and none of the questions they asked were left unanswered. Therefore, we would like to express our sincere thanks for agreeing and allowing the Owners of the Feed Production Agrocentre in Grajevo, Mr. Stanisław and Adam Pietruszyński, and Mr. Director Damian Lemański, to stay.
