On 31.01.2023, the conference was held on "How to achieve success in the cultivation of silage corn?" The conference organized by the Podlaskie Agricultural Advisory Centre in Szpietów and the Polish Association of Corn Producers in Poznań as part of the EU SeedsEU programme. Quite a large group of listeners were students from the semester 3 and 7 of the MANS Agriculture Direction in Łomża. A great curiosity was the introduction lecture given by Prof. Tadeusz Michalski President of the Polish Association of Corn Producers in Poznań. During the conference, issues related to silage corn agrotechnology, its potential and management, and proper silage and storage were discussed.
The conference was an opportunity to meet not only maize producers but also scientists and representatives of companies related to the agricultural sector (PFHBiPM, Pronar, Bayer, Skłodowski Spółka z o.o., MAGIA Sp. z o.o.). The company is a limited company.
We would like to thank the Podlaskie Directorate of the Szepetów Agricultural Advisory Centre for inviting us and enabling us to attend this very interesting conference.
