MANS is pleased to share with you information about an event that took place yesterday. Our Vice President , Dr. Ing . It's called "Piotr Ponichtera". MANS, attended the solemn celebration of the 15th anniversary of the University of the Third Age in High Mazowiec.
On 24 October 2008, this unique institution began its activities in the area of Vysoki Mazowiecki, which has become an integral part of the life of the town and municipality over the past fifteen years. The seniors, together with the UTW, have carried out a number of inspiring and uplifting projects to integrate the local community.
Yesterday's solemn meeting, which took place at the City Cultural Centre, was an opportunity not only to summarize the work so far but also to express gratitude for all the commitment and effort put into developing this remarkable institution.
During this special jubilee, Marianna Kaczanowicz, president of the UTW in Wysoki Mazowiecki, welcomed the guests. Representatives of various universities in Łomża were also present, including Dr Ing. Piotr Ponichtera from MANS, which is very nice of us. Representatives of local governments, which support the activities of the University of the Third Age, were also present.
During the ceremony, people who have served the UTW were honored, including Zbigniew Kaczanowicza, who in 2008 initiated the establishment of the University of the Third Age in Wysoki Mazowiec, and the oldest student of the UTW - Wanda Bukowska. Many other students who have been with us since the beginning have received commemorative statuettes.
In conclusion, the UTW Board expressed its gratitude to the many institutions and individuals who support the activities of this unique association.
Many of the guests highlighted the importance of seniors continuing to learn and develop, appreciating the contribution of Third Age University in developing their passions and interests.
It's amazing that the High Mazowiec University of Technology has contributed to the development of our city over the years and is a place where everyone can find their place. We congratulate you on this beautiful jubilee and wish you many more fruitful years of activity!
