MANS hosted young agricultural students from Texas. The Americans will stay in Poland for apprenticeships on farms.

The Americans' visit is part of the Young Farmer Exchange Program with the state of Texas in the United States. It is aimed at young people who link their future to farming. The purpose of staying in Poland is to provide them with new knowledge and experience.

We chose this cooperation with Texas not by accident. We work closely with the Texas A&M State University and we have a good partner – an American with Polish roots Jim Mazurkiewicz, who has been supporting various Polish-American programs for years, aiming to make our cooperation wider, more effective, especially in agriculture – says Katarzyna Boczek from the Polish Union of Grain Plant Producers.

In 10 years, more than 100 students from the USA have come to Poland. This year's group will first visit the Podlaskie Voivodeship and Warsaw, then young farmers will go to their destinations for a month-long practice. In July, students from Poland will go for similar internships.

- We invite students from other universities as well. If you're interested in agriculture, if you want to develop it, you can leave", says Dr Hab. Andrzej Borusiewicz, the head of MANS in Łomża.

In Poland, the project is being carried out by: Polish Association of Cereal Plant Producers, MANS and the Warsaw Rural School
