Using LEGO technology and a STEM-oriented approach in the educational process

NEW INTERNATIONAL MANS PROJECT in Łomża

23.05.2025 The International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża, together with the Nizhinsky State University. Mykoły Gogola, Niżyński Centrum Edukacji "Idea" (Ukraine), a linguistic-artistic institution for pre-school education "Academy of Kindergarten" in Łomża, has developed and started the implementation of the Educational and Scientific Project "How to effectively use LEGO technologies and STEM approach in the educational process".

The practice of using LEGO technology in the educational process is constantly updated, enriched by the pedagogical experience acquired. This should be reflected in the educational content, taking into account both national and international experiences of LEGO pedagogy. The use of LEGO technology and related materials in the Project is an important tool and didactic element of the educational process and can be used at both pre-school, upper secondary school, technical school and higher education level. The project offers real practical means to help higher education participants acquire competence in the use of LEGO technology in their future practical work and to present results in scientific research.

Project implementation period: May 2025 - November 2025 The results of the scientific work of the participants will be tested during the implementation of the youth exchange project in November 2025 in Łomża, discussed at the International Scientific and Practical Conference, as well as highlighted in the international collective student monograph, publication of articles in the Łomża MANS Scientific Sheets.
