On 4-6 June 2025, a second meeting of the international consortium implementing the TERRA project was held in Madrid (Towards Education open borders system to Reach employment in Regenerative Agriculture), co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme under the "Partners for Innovation – Forward Looking Projects" action.
The TERRA project aims to create an innovative micro-credentials system dedicated to education in regenerative agriculture, enabling flexible and labour market-adapted learning pathways. Micro-certificates, based on the Open Badges system, are intended to respond to the growing demand for green transformation competences in the agricultural sector in Europe.
The meeting was attended by representatives of 10 partner organisations from Spain, Poland, Italy, Greece and France – including universities, research institutes, agricultural organisations and training centres. The host of the event was the UPA organization (Union de Pequeños Agricultores y Ganaderos), representing Spanish farmers.
On the side of the Polish partner – the Mazovia Agricultural Advisory Centre (MANS) – the meeting was attended by Mr.Igor Skrodzki and Dr. Andrzej Borusiewicz. MANS representatives actively participated in working discussions on the development of training units, validation of competences and methodology for implementing e-learning courses on the Moodle platform.
The meeting was an opportunity to exchange experiences between partners from different countries, discuss local challenges and joint actions towards the implementation of education in regenerative agriculture. According to the assumptions of the project, the results of TERRA activities will be available in the form of an open-source toolkit that can be implemented in different sectors and educational contexts across Europe.
