Cooperationa internationala towards Construction

,,Construction - technology - organization – work safety” a lecture Professor, Dr Hab. engineer He is also a member of the Ukrainian delegation for relations with Ukraine.

As part of bilateral cooperation between the International Academy of Applied Sciences of Łomża and the Czerkaski State Technology University (Ukraine) on 09.04.2025, a guest lecture was held by prof., dr hab. inż. Jerzy Obolewicz for academic staff, academic staff and students in the field of Construction: “Building - technology - organization - work security”.

Prof. Jerzy Obolewicz presented the main approaches to construction and construction concepts; the use of modern technologies to organise work in construction; labour protection rules and requirements, as well as the responsibility of managers and employees for violations of workplace safety regulations. He stressed the need to comply with occupational safety and health requirements in construction, regulated by the main EU and Polish regulatory documents.

The audience actively participated in the discussion of the main issues raised during the lecture. The discussion was attended by Dr. Denys Greskyi, Dean of the Faculty of Technology, Building and Environmental Management; Serhii Prianyk, Head of the Department of Industrial and Civil Engineering; Serhii Rotte, Head of the Department of Geodesy, Spatial Economy, Construction and Safety of Life; Volodymyr Tsikanovskyi, senior lecturer at the Department of Geodesy, Spatial Economics, Construction and Safety of Life; students and Dr. This is Dariusz Tomaszewicz, deputy head of MANS in Łomża.

Dr Zoia Sharlovych, vice-chancellor for international affairs, thanked everyone for their participation and expressed hope that cooperation between the two universities would continue and develop.
