Project „innCREA - Standards for exampleenting programs aimed at exploring and developing creativity, prycieering in tuition of innovation" The International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża was implemented in partnership with the University of LUISS of Rome, University of Applied Sciences VAMK of Finland, the company European Center for Quality Ltd. ECQ from Bługaria, Center for vocational training Ekpedeftiki Paremvasi from Greece and project leader - V-Systems from Poland.
An international team of experts has carried out research in partner countries to learn about the experience of academics and entrepreneurs in implementing creativity and pioneering techniques for innovation in these sectors.
"As part of this project, we have prepared innovative tools to allow higher education to improve the competence of students, particularly in terms of increasing their creativity," says Dr. Inż. Ireneusz Żuchowski, MANS Director for Development, Promotion and EU Measures.
Transfer, adaptation and implementation of a package of training programmes to teach creativity in higher education aimed at developing soft skills – these are the main objectives of the ‘innCREA’ project.
- Students who graduate from universities or vocational schools are well-prepared in terms of technical knowledge, and employers point out that they often lack the soft skills which later prove to be the ones responsible for stimulating creativity in the workplace. We, as part of our project, have identified the 20 most sought-after soft skills by employers in five countries which they believe are most needed in today's European labour market. – says Rafał Wojszko from V-Systems.
Creativity is one of the most important soft skills that keeps the world moving forward. "Without creativity, there would be no progress", adds Joanna Surwillo of V-Systems.
The summary conference was attended by partners from Greece, Italy, Finland and Bulgaria, as well as researchers from Wrocław, Olsztyn and representatives of public institutions. The aim of yesterday's meeting was to disseminate the results of the work which had been carried out for up to 2 years.
"The Management Board of the Podlaskie Voivodeship is very positive about such projects", says Wojciech Tołkin-Żmijewski, Deputy Director of the Cabinet of the Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
The event took place in the picturesque Tycocin.
- Tykocin is such a special town on the map of the voivodship and all of Poland. From the point of view of the self-government, mayor, this creativity in our case is very important – says Mayor Tykocin Mariusz Dudziński.
