Scientists from the Department of Construction and Road Engineering WBIN released a new publication entitled "Building Materials" by the PWN Scientific Publishing House
Researchers from the Faculty of Construction and Road Engineering WBINŚ PB published a new publication entitled "Building Materials" by the PWN Scientific Publishing House. Its authors are: dean of the faculty prof. dr hab. inż. Michał Boltryk, Dr. Ing. Dorota Małaszkiewicz and mgr inż. Grzegorz Orzepowski. This publication seeks to harmonise the distributed knowledge of building materials of various types, including wood, rock materials, glass, asphalt and ceramics, as well as metal and plastic alloys, manufactured and processed for construction and communication infrastructure. The authors, who are long-time practitioners and academic lecturers, present the properties, research procedures and location and conditions of use of building materials according to current standards. The book is aimed at technologists, engineers and architects who work with building materials, as well as students in the fields of construction, architecture, urban planning, spatial planning and construction installations, where the subject 'Building Materials' is taught.
