As part of the course on Renewable Energy Sources, Master's students in Agriculture, specialising in Renewable Energy Sources, participated in field exercises conducted by MSc. The exercises concerned the assessment of the environmental impact of wind power plants. The subject of the lessons was measuring the noise intensity emitted by the VESTAS V90-2.0 MW wind turbine and measuring wind speed. Two measuring instruments were used during the exercise. The first was a sonometer used to measure the noise level emitted by the working turbine, the results of which were read in decibels (dB). The second device was a measuring probe – an anemometer, using which students measured the wind speed expressed in meters per second (m/s). ????Measurements were carried out at designated points in the vicinity of the turbine. The students made their own readings, recording both the noise level and the actual wind speed. This made it possible to analyze the relationship between atmospheric conditions and the intensity of the sound generated by the wind farm. It has been observed in the course of the exercises that an increase in wind speed may have an effect on the aerodynamic noise level generated during rotor blade operation, as well as on the background noise level in the environment. The studies made it possible to acquire practical skills related to the operation of the measuring apparatus and the interpretation of the results concerning the operation of wind energy installations. The exercises also provided a better understanding of the importance of monitoring environmental parameters in the operation of renewable energy sources and assessing their impact on the environment. Exercises were of great interest Below photorelationship ??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
