First “My Passion — Civil Engineering” competition at MANS Łomża

On 19 March 2024 at the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża, there was a competition entitled “My Passion – Construction!”. It was attended by 27 participants from 6 schools: the Environmental and Agribusiness Education Team in Giżyck, the School Group No. 1 in Ostrów Mazowiecka, the School Team in Różana, the School Group No. 1 in Ełk, the Vocational School Complex No. 1 in Ostrołęka, the Vocational School Group No. 2 in Ostrołęka and the Agro-Entrepreneurship School Team in Zambrowa.
The competition was organised to promote the knowledge of construction among students in upper secondary schools and to encourage them to choose professions related to the construction industry. The idea of the competition was conceived by MANS and the Team of Vocational Schools No. 2 No. 5 Regiment Ulanów Zasławskich in Ostrołęka.
The event would not take place without cooperation and support of companies in the construction industry: Metal-Tech Sp. z o.o. from Ciechanów, Prefbet Śniadowo, M-Draw, Stalco, Bolc from Ostrołęka, PSB – Pioneer Łomża and Greinplast. Gifts and certificates for participation from sponsors and organizers were given to all participants of the competition and their guardians from schools. The first three awards were funded by Metal-Tech Sp. z o.o. Prefbet breakfast, M-Draw from Konarzyc and Stalco.
The winners of the competition were: Mr Stanisław Kosiorek from the Schools of Environmental Shape and Agribusiness in Giżyck – 1st place (careers – Marta Fedusio and Mr Wiesław Sakowski) , Mr Wojciech Białczak from the Schools of Environmental Shape and Agrobisnes in Giżyck – 2nd place (careers – Marta Fedusio and Mr Wiesław Sakowski), Mr Jakub Szrage from the School Group No. 1 in Elk – 3rd place (carier: Małgorzata Lutow).
We congratulate the winners and wish them continued perseverance in building knowledge!
