Experience meets technology: Agrolok's national “Past versus Future” field workshops
On May 21st, all roads led to Golubia-Dobrzynia, where Agrolok held the Polish Polo Workshops under the slogan "The past versus the future. How has the approach to cultivation changed?”. . . The workshops were also attended by students of the 6th sem. agricultural direction from the International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża together with lecturers of Dr. inż. Jolanta Puczel and Dr. Ing. Bronisław Puchiel The event was extremely educational – in addition to farmers and professionals from the industry, it was also attended by agricultural school students, agricultural students and teaching staff. This day was devoted to science, exchange of experiences and, above all, presentation of modern solutions used in modern agriculture.
It was particularly important for the students to get acquainted with Experimental implementation of modern cultivation technologies. . . The workshops presented field experiences aimed not only at comparing varieties, but above all at testing and evaluating the effectiveness of innovative agrotechnology solutions in practice. For students, this was a very important event, as the theory gained in lectures on agrotechnology, soiling and plant physiology was combined with the reality of work in the field. This fosters a better understanding of the relationship between the environment, technology and production efficiency.
Participation in the All-Polish Polo Workshops in Golubiu-Dobrzyń was an excellent opportunity for students to learn through experience. Pilot projects implementing modern farming technologies are not only the future of agriculture but also the foundation for the training of knowledgeable, competent and innovative agro-professionals.
