Competition for the best Civil Engineering theses from the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 academic years

On behalf of the Organization Committee, I kindly remind you that the Polish Association of Construction Engineers and Engineers – a branch in Białystok is organizing another editing Competition "Best Diplomatic Proceedings of Graduates of Higher Direction Studies CONSTRUCTION"  performed in the academic year 2020/2021 and 2021/2022.

To Competition A maximum of 2 works may be submitted by graduates of engineering and master's studies in civil engineering from one Promoter from each Higher Education Institution and from each level of study, for each academic year.

Applications for diplomas shall be accepted in the following categories:

- Design works,

- Design work on technology and construction organisation,

- Analytical work,

- Research.

An application submitting a thesis to the Competition should contain::

- the subject matter of work,

- a short description of the work (minimum 100 words, maximum 1 page),

- the evaluation of the work (average from the evaluations of the promoter and the reviewer),

- the date of defence,

- the name of the author of the work; in the case of teamwork, the scope of the work carried out by the individual authors should be specified,

- the title obtained,

- the exact address of residence (home address, telephone number, e-mail),

- the name of the work promoter,

- Information clause on GDPR.

Submission of the above-mentioned documents is a prerequisite for admission to the Competition.

The contest participant prepares and announces stationary or on-line, 10-minute presentation of his Work including:

- the subject and the justification for choosing the subject (whether and to what extent the work is a new approach to the problem),

- the purpose and scope of the work,

- the methodology for the implementation of work,

- subject matter (project/analysis/test results),

- summary/conclusions (whether and to what extent the work can be used)   in practice).

Date of presentation -  according to the Schedule of the Competition – 6 September 2023.

Diploma papers submitted to the Competition should be defended by: 31 December 2022.

A prerequisite for the submission of diplomas to the Competition the electronic version of the application, accompanied by a photograph of the Diplomat, shall be sent to: pzitb101@gmail.pI

Electronic works submitted in PDF format with signed applications will be accepted by:  30 June 2023. by e-mail to the above e-mail address or in person at the PZITB Branch in Białystok  (RFSNT NOT  ul. M. Skłodowska-Curie 2, II p./pok.204)
