MANS is announcing a change in the university's leadership. After 26 years of exceptionally fruitful service as Rector, Prof. Roman Engler takes over as President of MANS. His place as Rector of MANS includes Dr. Ing. Ireneusz Żuchowski, an economist with recognition in both academic and economic circles.
Prof. ed. dr hab. Roman Engler - The founder and first Rector of the University of Agribusiness in Łomża, born in 1954 in Gdynia, is a figure with exceptional academic and social achievements. Graduate of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science of the Institute of International Relations of the University of Warsaw. For many years he held important social functions, including chairman of the Municipal Board and the Voivodeship Board of the Union of Polish Socialist Youth in Łomża. He has been involved in a number of projects, social and economic initiatives supporting the local community. He became famous as the organizer of the "Open Hearted Account" campaign supporting people with disabilities. In the years 1988-1996 he was active in business, being chairman of several companies. He is also the founder of the foundation "Janko Muzykant", which awards scholarships to gifted and needy students. As rector of the university, he made a significant contribution to the development of MANS, gaining recognition among academic staff and students.
Dr. Ing. Ireneusz Żuchowski - Doctor of Economic Sciences, Born April 20, 1975 is an economist with significant scientific and social achievements. Graduate of the Faculty of Economics and Organization of Food Economy of the Academy of Agriculture in Szczecin. He has numerous scientific achievements and publications, including research papers and articles in reputable industry journals. Since 2016, he has served as Vice-Rector for the Development and Promotion of MANS, having previously been Rector of the Higher School of Economics and Society in Ostrołęka for 11 years. During his academic career, he actively participated in training and scientific conferences, both at home and abroad. He is also a valued adjunct promoter of doctoral theses and reviewer of scientific publications. His commitment to the development of education and science has earned him recognition in academia.
Because of Dr. Ing's promotion. Mr Zhuchowski as Rector, the post of Vice-Rector will be filled by Dr. Ing. This is Piotr Ponichtera. Dr. engineer. Piotr Ponichtera is a valued expert in his field, who will bring his experience and commitment to the development of the university, supporting its goals and mission. The new vice-rector at MANS (formerly WSA) has been working since 2005.
Both characters, Prof. ed. dr hab. Roman Engler and Dr. Inż. Ireneusz Żuchowski, they combine a passion for education, commitment to the development of science and the promotion of knowledge and the ability to inspire others to academic and social achievements.
