MANS has applied to join the seventh edition of the Academic Legion programme. Eligible students and graduates can apply for military training, including a 15-hour theoretical module.

The International Academy of Applied Sciences in Łomża has submitted an application to the Ministry of Education and Science to participate in the seventh edition of the Academic Legion programme. Military education under the programme consists of two parts: theoretical training delivered by universities according to the curriculum developed by the Minister of National Defence, and practical training in the form of military exercises organised by the Minister. The university will deliver the theoretical component of the non-commissioned officer module, comprising 15 hours. The programme is open to Polish citizens studying in first-cycle, second-cycle or long-cycle master’s programmes at public or non-public universities, in any year of study. Eligible students from other universities may also participate in groups organised at MANS. Graduates may participate if they began training at an Academic Legion School while still students and are continuing it after graduation, in accordance with Decision No. 178/MON of 19 December on voluntary military training for university students and graduates at Academic Legion Schools, published in the Official Journal of the Minister of National Defence. The theoretical training will take place first and must finish by 30 May 2024. Applicants who meet these criteria should complete the attached application form and send it by post to MANS, ul. Studencka 19, 18-400 Łomża, or submit it in person at the MANS reception desk by 30 March 2024.
