Eurodesk is a European Union programme for youth, youth workers and youth organisations supported by the European Commission, the Ministry of National Education and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under the Erasmus+ programme.
Eurodesk is an international network operating in 36 European countries. It includes organisations and institutions working with young people, dealing with European and/or youth information. More than 1000 organisations are active in Eurodesk, including more than 60 in the Eurodesk Polska network.
Eurodesk is an immediate information about opportunities in Europe – for young people and youth workers. Education, internships, mobility, funds are the main areas in which the Eurodesk network specialises.
Eurodesk Poland operates a database of Polish and European grant programmes, organisations and institutions, trainings or volunteering projects in which one can participate. Eurodesk Polska also responds to questions from young people, informs and conducts publishing activities. Publications are issued to inform about the opportunities to go to another EU country: to study, to work, to volunteer, among them there are titles such as “In White”, “Studying is a challenge”. Eurodesk Poland also publishes the “Europe for Active” quarterly with the “Your Eurodesk” information and promotion supplement.
Eurodesk also offers original educational games. Board games “EU on the Board” and “Euroshanse” as well as a card game “Time to Move” are a great opportunity to learn more about the process of creating European Union law, the opportunities and possibilities of belonging to the EU and the curiosity about Europe with great fun.
