9th Scientific Conference of the Polish Society of Agronomy

On 4-6 September 2022, the 9th Scientific Conference of the Polish Agronomic Society on "Polish agriculture in the face of the European Green Deal" was held at the Reymontówka House of Creative Work. The conference was organized by the Polish Agronomic Society, Siedlce Branch, and the University of Humanities in Siedlce. After the welcome and opening of the Conference by JM Rector of the University of Natural and Humanities in Siedlce Prof. hab. Mirosław Minkina, participants of the conference with great interest listened to a lecture given by Prof. Dr hab., dr h.c. multi Andrzej Kotecki from the University of Nature in Wrocław on "Is enough grain for feeding the world"? The second introductory lecture was given by Prof. Dr hab. Zdzisław Wyszyński from the Scientific Excellence Council on “Rules of Scientific Promotions”. On the first day of the conference from each branch of the Polish Agronomic Society was delivered 15 minutes. A lecture on the subject of the conference. The conference was attended by Dr. Inż. Janusz Lisowski Prof. WSA and Mr Henryk Porwisiak. In the second part of Dr. Ing. Janusz Lisowski Prof. The WSA presented a paper on "Comparing biometric features of oxytree trees in the conditions of the city of Łomża between 2019 and 2022". After the third session, participants of the conference participated in the post-office session. During the evening, the National Board of the Polish Scientific Society was held under the chairmanship of Prof. UPP Dr. hab. Leszek Majchrzak, on whom the PTA's activities were introduced as well as plans for the next two years. On the second day of the Conference, members of the PTA participated in a field session which gave an approximation of oven production at one of the most modern oven manufacturing plants in Europe.
