On 13 December 2024, the 3rd Symposium of the Deanships of the University of Podlasie was held at the Bialystok Polytechnic. The meeting brought together nearly 120 representatives of the seven largest universities in the region, including MANS staff who actively participated in the event.
The main topics of the symposium included a catalogue of good practices on inclusiveness, anti-discrimination, e-delivery procedures and training under dual-degree agreements. The presentations were led by experts from the Polytechnic of Bialystok, the University of Warsaw and the University of Bialystok, who shared their experiences and solutions in the field of study management and university administration.
The ceremony began with the performance of the Tenth City Orchestra of Białystok, whose members cooperate with the Bialystok Polytechnic and the Mechanical Schools Band in Białystok. The concert was a welcome introduction to the lectures, which covered, inter alia, procedures for supporting people in the gender transition process and good practices on equality and inclusiveness.
Participants in the event representing, among others: The Bialystok Polytechnic, the University of Bialystok, the Medical University of Bialystok, the Higher School of Economics in Bialystok, the East European Academy of Applied Sciences in Bialystok and the State Vocational College in Suwałki had the opportunity to exchange experiences and cooperate. The symposium ended with a thank you to the organizers and all those involved in organizing the event.
